      Eighth Annual Renewable Energy Conference, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pierce Cedar Creek Institute. This conference is ideal for homeowners, renewable energy enthusiasts, and students who wish to learn something new and meet other individuals that are interested in promoting and using renewable and alternative energy technologies.         Earth Hour 2010 takes place at 8:30 p.m. local time on March 27.        Introduction to Permaculture, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Pierce Cedar Creek Institute. "Permaculture is a system of perennial agriculture emphasizing the use of renewable natural resources and the enrichment of local ecosystems, and is much more than just food production. According to Bill Wilson, co-founder of Midwest Permaculture, it is a thorough study inviting us to look at our homes, our uses and sources of energy, our methods for providing food and comfortable shelter, our work, and our relationships. The goal of permaculture is to create harmonious relationships with all aspects of our lives."
